Continental tread worn down
The rubber layer under an Ultraboost or Adizero wears out long before the Boost does. Replacing the outer rubber is enough; the midsole stays as it is.
Flattened Boost, yellowed sole
TPU pellets flatten and yellow with age. That part cannot be replaced, so the workshop only treats the yellowing and renews the outer sole layer.
Glue opening at the toe and sole edge
Samba, Gazelle and Superstar often open at the toe. Re-gluing a loose sole is 250,000d: the gap is cleaned, glued and clamped in a mould.
Resoling Adidas Ultraboost and NMD
Ultraboost and NMD have a Continental rubber sole glued onto the Boost layer. Once the tread is worn flat, the workshop peels off the outer rubber and glues on a new sole of the same thickness, without touching the midsole. If the sole is merely yellowed, yellowing removal keeps the original sole.
Resoling Adidas Stan Smith and Superstar
Stan Smith and Superstar use a one-piece cupsole that wears mostly at the heel. The workshop replaces the whole sole or builds the worn heel back up, with cosmetic restitching at 200,000d if the welt stitching has split.
Regumming Adidas Samba and Gazelle soles
The gum sole of a Samba or Gazelle is thin, so it wears quickly at the toe when you pivot. We glue a matching gum rubber layer onto the worn spot, or replace the whole gum sole once the wear runs deep, keeping the original colour.
Vibram anti-wear sole protector for Adidas shoes

How much does Adidas resoling cost?
Resoling Adidas shoes is 300,000d - 850,000d depending on the model and the sole type. The cupsole of a Stan Smith is not the same job as the Continental sole of an Ultraboost, so the price differs; the technician looks at the pair and fixes the price.
Can a worn Ultraboost be resoled, and does the Boost have to go?
It can. Only the bottom Continental rubber layer is peeled off before a new sole goes on, and the Boost pellets in the midsole stay untouched. Boost that has already flattened cannot be restored, and we say so beforehand.
My Adidas sole has yellowed - resole it or treat the yellowing?
If the tread is still there and the sole is only yellowed, yellowing removal costs less and keeps the original sole. A resole is only needed once the tread is worn flat or the rubber has cracked.
How do you fix a worn gum toe on a Samba or Gazelle?
The gum sole is thin, so it wears fast at the toe. The workshop glues a matching gum rubber layer onto the worn spot, or replaces the whole gum sole once the wear runs deep.
How much for an Adidas shoe with a loose sole or split stitching?
