Smooth cowhide bags

The most common material. Cleaned with a dedicated cleanser, then conditioned so the leather does not crack.

Absolutely no water. Treated dry with a dedicated brush and spot cleaner.

Textured leather bags

The grooved surface traps dust deep down, so it needs a soft brush worked along each groove.

The fabric carries a very thin protective coating that rubs off if scrubbed hard.
