Shoe Cleaning
matched to the right material
Which materials we handle
Fabric and canvas sneakers
Handles water well. Cleaned with a dedicated solution and a soft brush.
- Clean the upper, sole, laces and insole
- Remove yellowing on white fabric
- Nano water repellent coating
Smooth leather
Never soaked. Cleaned with a leather cleanser, then conditioned.
- Clean the surface and stitching
- Condition to prevent cracking
- Final polish
Suede and nubuck
The most water-averse material of all. Treated dry with a crepe brush and spot cleaner.
- Dry cleaning, never soaked
- Brush the nap back up
- Treat mould and oily shine
Mesh and knit
Fine fibres stretch and pill easily, so it needs a light touch and careful drying.
- Low pressure cleaning
- Keep the mesh in shape
- Heat controlled drying
Patent leather
The surface scratches and marks easily. Wiped with a microfibre cloth and a neutral solution.
- Clean without leaving streaks
- Remove colour transfer
- Restore the shine
White shoes
The hardest group, because every mark shows. Soles and uppers each get their own process.
- Remove yellowing on rubber soles
- Whiten the upper according to its material
- Prevent the yellowing coming back
Running shoes
Sweat soaks deep into the insole and midsole, so it needs deodorising, not just a surface clean.
- Deep clean the insole
- Deodorise and sanitise
- Clean the midsole
Fine leather shoes
Every detail done by hand, keeping the patina and original colour intact.
- Clean and condition the leather
- Finish with polish
- Reshape the shoe
