Custom bags: upcycling an old bag or building one to your design
The custom workshop in Tan Phu
The workshop is at 1/56 Nguyen The Truyen, Tan Son Nhi ward, Tan Phu district, open 8:00 to 18:00 every day. Custom bags are made here, so you can come in, look at the materials and talk the design through with the maker.
From further away, message Zalo 0388665129 with photos of the old bag or of the design you want. The maker assesses the material from the photos and agrees an approach before you send anything in.
You can send your own old bag to be upcycled, or leather you bought yourself. The maker checks the material first and says honestly if that leather is not good enough to work with.
Two custom routes at Foxpro
Upcycling an old bag into a new one
A large bag you rarely use, one that has lost its shape or torn in one place, is taken apart and the sound canvas and leather used to build a smaller shape.
A bag built to your design
You bring a drawing, reference photos or a bag you like. The maker settles the dimensions, leather, thread colour and hardware, then builds it from scratch.
A good bag turned into another shape
A large tote becomes a crossbody, a top-handle bag becomes a clutch. What is left over becomes a matching wallet or pouch.
Your leather or ours
You can send an old bag or leather you bought yourself. If you send nothing, the workshop sources the leather and hardware for the agreed design.
Handles, clasps and fittings
New handles, a different clasp, an added inner pocket or a detachable strap. These are settled at the same time as the design.
Copy a model that is on sale
We do not make counterfeits and do not put brand logos on bags we build. Custom here means working on your own item, or to your own design.

How ordering a custom bag works
Send photos and your idea
Message us on Zalo with photos of the old bag or of the design you want. Say what you will carry in it and how you want to wear it.
Assessing the material and agreeing the design
The maker checks how much of the canvas and leather is sound, then settles the shape, dimensions, leather, thread colour and hardware.
Quote and timing
The price falls between 2,800,000d and 5,000,000d depending on the design, and the work takes 2 to 4 weeks. Nothing starts until you agree.
Cutting and stitching by hand
Patterns are made, the material cut, then stitched and fitted. If you want to follow along, the workshop sends photos of each stage on Zalo.
Check and handover
Checked against the agreed design, with the stitching and hardware inspected. Delivered anywhere in Ho Chi Minh City or sent to other provinces.

Custom bags: FAQ
How much does a custom bag cost?
Around 2,800,000d – 5,000,000d for either route, depending on the shape, how much leather is needed and the fittings. The price is fixed once the design is settled, and work starts only when you agree.
How long does a custom bag take?
2 to 4 weeks from the moment the design and price are agreed. The more detailed the design, the closer to 4 weeks.
Can I send my own old bag to be upcycled?
Yes, that is exactly the first route. The maker checks how much of the canvas and leather is sound, then tells you what shapes are possible.
Can I buy leather myself and send it in?
Yes. The maker looks at it first and says honestly if that leather does not suit the shape you want. If you send nothing, the workshop sources everything.
Can a badly torn bag still be upcycled?
It depends how much is sound. With a lot of damage the finished shape will be smaller than planned, or it becomes a wallet or pouch instead. The maker looks at the photos and tells you the options first.
Will you copy a particular brand's model?
No. Foxpro does not make counterfeits and does not put brand logos on bags we build. We work on your own bag, or to the design you bring us.
Can I follow the progress while it is being made?
Yes. Every order has its own code to track on the order lookup page, and the workshop sends photos of each stage on Zalo if you want them.
Can I order a custom bag from another province?
Yes. Send the bag by coach or post; we photograph it as we open the parcel so both sides can compare before any work begins.
