The key is to wet and dry the whole pair evenly rather than dabbing only the stain, because spot-treating creates a new ring around it.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Remove the laces and insoles and wash them separately.<\/li>\n<li>Mix a little mild soap with warm water and brush the whole fabric surface with a soft brush, from toe to heel, so the entire pair is evenly damp.<\/li>\n<li>Rinse with plenty of clean water, squeezing gently until there is no more foam.
